Moving purchasers more quickly from pin to purchase is one way buyable pins could also help brands boost sales. While half of Pinterest-driven purchases are made within one week of pinning, only 10% are made within 24 hours.

Marketing Team Notes: Pinterest can be an exceptional visual marketing platform. To be effective, though, your Pinterest boards & pins must be more than a billboard for your product. Initially, small businesses may find it more lucrative to link that “buy” button to their amazon.com product page. Amazon isn’t onboard yet, so now would be a good time to make sure that your product page is the best it can be!
