In the category of Best Children’s Books—Values & Life Lessons Chambers’ books, We Are Whooo We Are and Fraidy Cat, won Gold, and The Day The Snapdragons Snapped Back, won the Silver Award. Melinda is regularly a featured author at Book Expo America in New York.

Jason collaborated with Geri Field on Hailley & the Giant, a new release that tells the story of triumph over a giant who is a bully. It’s a metaphor, written by a teacher and illustrated by classmates of Hailley Parsons, who is undergoing radiation treatments to eradicate an inoperable brain tumor.
