In just a few short weeks we’ll be heading from Chesapeake, VA, to Louisville, KY, for the 9th Annual ABC Kids Expo! Although we hit the road for a variety of trade shows each year, this will be our first time attending this particular event.
To say that we’re excited would be a huge understatement! We love every opportunity we can find to talk about your award-winning products and services and celebrate your dedication to family-friendliness.
This is a private trade show (not open to the public) whose purpose is to benefit of juvenile products manufacturers, specialty store retailers, distributors and manufacturers’ representatives of juvenile products. According to the ABC Kids website, the Expo ranks 54 out of the 100 largest trade shows in North America.
More than 1,000 exhibits will fill nearly 1 million(!) feet of exhibit space! According to the show prospectus, 14,655 people will walk the floors, including 6,867 buyers/sales reps and 2,507 retail stores, 480 media reps and 197 media companies.
What we love about this opportunity is that we’ll be front and center … literally … with both exhibitors and attendees. Check out that red star … EVERYONE will be passing by our booth!
Like the represented retailers and exhibiting manufacturers, we will showcase our best to sales representatives, importer/exporters, and members of the media. Although we don’t have furniture, bedding, highchairs, or strollers, the catalog we are taking will allow us to showcase products and services in many of these categories/subcategories listed in the prospectus.
If you are near or can get to Louisville, we hope you can join us Sept. 23-26, 2011. If you can’t be there in person, we do hope you’ll give us a chance to showcase your product during the show in our QR Code Catalog.
