The Alumni Spotlight is a periodic feature of the Mom’s Choice Awards® blog. We share their stories not only to celebrate their accomplishments, but to give you an opportunity to see the benefits of being part of the Mom’s Choice Awards family of programs.

Janet Mary Sinke – or Grandma Janet Mary as she is affectionately called – anxiously awaiting the “tie-breaker” grandchild, due February 2010. She is the proud grandmother of 14 grandbabies: seven boys and seven girls. She began her journey as an author and publisher eight years ago. Her series of books include five published children’s stories and one inspirational book related to her hospice experiences, titled Ten Lessons Learned; Gifts from Those Remembered. Today, Janet and  her family run My Grandma and Me Publishers, a company she started in 2003.
